For complete brow loss due to alopecia, scarring or other medical causes, reconstruction can be discussed; whether it is possible is decided at the medical assessment.
The three main stages the process generally follows.
Brow density, facial proportions and hair texture are reviewed with the clinician, who also decides the graft count.
FUE, usually under local anaesthetic – the angle and direction of the hairs are taken into account.

Eyebrow transplant: brow line and density
Eyebrow transplantation is based on the same principles as hair transplantation: with FUE, individual follicles are taken from the donor area and placed in the brow region.
Growth direction and angle play an important role because brow hairs follow their own pattern.
Transplanted hairs usually keep growing like scalp hair and therefore need regular trimming; results vary from person to person.
Topic: FUE technique applied to the eyebrow region
